Most people earn $143K over the course of a couple years, but what would it be like to win $143K in just 53 minutes time? The person to ask would be Ilari ‘Ziigmund’ Sahamies who did just that. Sahamies first sat down against Cole Smith and a player named ‘rezzydezzy1’ where he played three handed poker for only 5 hands winning $77K. Rezzydezzy1 left the action as Smith and Sahamies proceeded to play some heads up action. Over the next 48 minutes Sahamies had his way with Mr. Cole Smith winning another $66,000 in the process. Making his total winnings for the day (53 minutes) at a cool $143K. |

Other winners thus far include John Joannou who shipped the $1,100 H.O.R.S.E., Annette Obrestad took home Event #4, Event #3 belonged to Simon Morris, and the opening day event was won by Matthew Ephraums. More events and winner are to come, so check back with Poker777 as the action continues in the land down under. |
