The Bahamas is witnessing poker players flock to the Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island. The $10,300 buy-in main event starts today, and we’ll be sure to see the top poker players from around the globe hit the felt. Considering that outside the United States players only have to be 18 years of age we’ll be sure to see more young faces in the field. Only half the field will start today as more players will begin play tomorrow as day 2B sets in. Not only do these players to get play in a $10,000 main event tournament they also get to enjoy the sunshine of the Bahamas. |

The Apple iPhone and the iPod Touch welcome a new app to their arsenal. The World Series of Poker Hold’em Legends game is now available on both devices. The game has 25 events, 7 venues, and will have both cash and tournament play. Another excellent feature for this game is the fact that it contains a career mode. Players can put their virtual poker career (aside from playing online) to the test, and see just how far they can take their bankroll. So if you’re timid to put actual money onto a poker room then test your skills with the new WSOP Hold’em Legends game available on your iPhone. |

Sunday brought us another fun filled day with three major tournaments. The Sunday Brawl started off the day with a prize pool of $575,000, and there was a four way chop at the final table between JCTurn, whitehorses5, Euthanaces, and NudelTofu. NudelTofu defeated the other 2,876 entrants, and walked away with $81,000. The biggest win of the day on Full Tilt belonged to ‘metfan4590’ as he shipped the Full Tilt $750,000 Guaranteed which left him with $150,000 in his online account. We’re not playing golf, but the last major tournament of the day was the Full Tilt Sunday Mulligan. ‘iceontheriver’ bested a field of 1,178 entrants, and took home $53,000 for his first place efforts. |
