The World Poker Tours Five Diamond Classic, also known as the Doyle Brunson Classic, heads to Day 3. Steve Landfish started the day with chip lead as his stack totals 385,900 chips. He isn’t out in front by much as Brent Hanks holds a chip stack worth 383,000. The buzz in the room has got to be over the position Doyle Brunson put himself in heading into Day 3. Doyle started the day in 15th place, and it would be a Hollywood ending if he were to ship his own tournament. It’s too close to call at the moment so check back with Poker777 for more updates on this one of a kind tournament. |

Isildur1 was at it again as he played multiple sessions throughout the day, and once again walked away from the tables with a loss. This time Cole Smith did the damage. The CardRunners pro defeated Isildur1 in the normal pot-limit Omaha heads up match. They played over 3,000 hands, and Cole Smith was able to take $229K off of Isildur1. I haven’t reported many wins for Isildur1 as of late, so is the unknown Swede running out of tricks at the poker table? Only time will tell as I am sure this roller coaster isn’t over as long as Isildur1 has an opponent. |

Sunday’s always bring incredible prize pools, and yesterday was no different. ‘Tablepiece’, ‘Lancer0410’, and ‘sh4rrk’ were the big winners on Sunday as all three collectively won Full Tilt’s thee major tournaments. ‘Tablepiece’ shipped the $750k Guarantee ($134,097.67), ‘Lancer0410’ won the Sunday Brawl ($105,600.60), and ‘sh4rrk’ was victorious in the Sunday Mulligan for $49,050. ‘Tablepiece’ was obviously the biggest winner of the day as he took down Full Tilt’s biggest tournament of the day; but the other two winner have to be quite satisfied for their days work. |

By winning the World Series of Poker main event, you are automatically seen as the new face of the poker world. Whether you like it or not, that's just how it is. Since Cada has won the World Series he has become that new face. Cada traveled to Washington D.C. in his efforts to help out the Poker Players Alliance. Cada met with 10 lawmakers on Capitol Hill to let his voice be heard on the legalization of online poker. The Poker Player Alliance wants to have Cada as their face of poker when they travel to D.C. in the upcoming months. We all know every poker player in the United States is behind Cada and the PPA. |
