With over 3 months of waiting and weekend play in the books the Main Event is down to only two competitors. The showdown for the coveted bracelet and the jaw-dropping $8.5 million will be between Darvin Moon and Joe Cada. Darvin came into the final table holding a hefty chip lead but it was Cada who surpassed Moon for the chip lead as we come to heads up play. Cada will enter Monday’s matchup with a chip stack of 136,925,000 and Moon will sit with 58,875,000. Cada has a solid chip lead but chip leads don’t mean a whole lot when it comes to poker. |

Those who have played on PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker know how convenient synchronized breaks can be for a poker session. You know how annoying it can be when 3 tournaments go on break but you were unable to take a break due to the other tables that were still running. Now the players on Cereus Poker (Absolute & Ultimate Bet) will experience the feeling of a synchronized break. Cereus Poker just upgraded their software by adding the ‘synchronized break’ to their online gaming room. Take a deep breath and relax Cereus poker players as you can now enjoy ‘synchronized breaking’. |

World Poker Tour Enterprises closes the deal to sell most of its assets to Peerless Media, a subordinate to Party Gaming. Party Gaming is the world’s leading online gaming company and one of their main sites includes Party Poker. Peerless Media will pay World Poker Tour Enterprises $12.3 million for the rights to the majority of the assets despite a late, much larger offer from Mandalay Media. Mandalay Media was a late bloomer in the deal and they offered WPTE a whopping $36.5 million (WHAT!?!) for the rights. WPTE decided that the Mandalay Media proposal was ‘not a Superior Proposal’. |
