By now I’m sure we are all well aware of Rush Poker which is being brought to us by Full Tilt Poker. ‘The World’s Fastest Poker Game’ allows players to fold their hands and they will instantly be moved to another table where another hand will be waiting. Now Full Tilt is allowing Rush Poker to be a part of their ‘Happy Hour’. Players will now be able to rack up more points than ever. They will be able to play a ridiculous amount of hands by collecting double or even triple the amount of points during Happy Hour. |

SKYTV just aired the largest cash game pot to appear on television as Tom Dwan and Phil Ivey went head to head. The hand took place on Full Tilt Poker’s Million Dollar Cash Game and the pot hit the seven figure mark. Both Dwan and Ivey were holding a straight on the turn when the money went in. It was sad for Ivey though as he went it with A2 on a J 3 5 4 board and Dwan was holding the straight with the 76. The $1,100,000 pot was shipped to Dwan as Ivey was drawing dead on the turn. It’s only my personal opinion that this record will not last long. |

The Ultimate Bet Online Championship came to a close as the 18th and final event was held on Sunday. The $1,000 buy-in championship tournament had a first place prize set at $279,044.50. The player left standing at the end of UBOC 4 to take home the championship and the cash prize was ‘DOUBLEDAVE22’. DOUBLEDAVE22 edged out ‘SUPERMODL’ who took second place of UBOC 18 which also earned him a six figure payday of $163,244.30. It would have been nice to have live stream showing Phil Hellmuth being eliminated from this tournament considering he was the ‘host’. |
