Wednesday, 03 March 2010 09:25

Isildur1 was back on the high stakes cash tables, but this time the cards didn’t exactly go his way. Isildur1 dropped just over $950K as he battled top players in heads up play. He went up against Tom Dwan, Brian Townsend, and Justin Bonomo before dropping nearly $1 million. Isildur1 was playing a mixture of $100/$200, $200/$400 No Limit Hold’em and $200/$400 Pot-Limit Omaha, but lost to every player he played against. The losses on the day dropped Isildur1’s winnings for the year down to under $1 million. That is it for now, but rest a sure that an Isildur1 report is on the horizon.

Tuesday, 02 March 2010 09:56

The high stakes cash games seem to have the same faces day to day, but it’s just not the same without Isildur1. This time Isildur1 took on his nemesis in Brian Hastings, and it seem that Isildur1 had his way with the Full Tilt pro. The two battled it out $300/$600 Pot-Limit Omaha with Isildur1 winning just over $500,000. Isildur1 may have had his way with Hastings, but the tables turned when he went up against Brian Townsend. Townsend ended up taking $658,000 from Isildur1 leaving Isildur1 down around $153,000 over the two sessions. It’s always a fun roller coaster ride on the high stakes tables.
