A field of 721 players who came to compete for a diamond studded golden bracelet and a huge jackpot to the Crown Casino in Melbourne where the Aussie Millions tournament took place was finally defeated by a sensible grandfather of five grandchildren. David Gorr has been working as a computer analyst for the past 15 years and despite his newly acquired $2 million he is not planning on quitting the job. He already enjoyed a red carpet treatment on his first day at work after the massive victory and had his colleagues trying on the bracelet and have photographs taken with him. Mr Gorr says he’s been exposed to poker since a very young age. His parents organised a charity fundraiser poker tournament when he was only five. Whilst enjoying the game very much, he is not going to leave his job for poker and will continue a common life.
