The opening event of the 2010 Crown Aussie Millions brought the largest Australian championship poker tournament in history, but only one could walk away declared the winner. Matthew Ephraums was the individual that took down the largest field which earned him $200,000 and the gold ring. Ephraums defeated Brendan Edmonds in heads up play, but don’t feel to bad for Brendan as he walked with a cool $142,000. Event 1 belongs to Matthew Ephraums, but there is still plenty of action to take place as the Aussie Millions continues to roll on.
