A new Hollywood-themed gambling resort will be opened beginning 2010 in Kansas by the Kansas Speedway in cooperation with Penn International Gaming. The venue’s name will be Hollywood Casino 400. It should cover a 100,000 sqf of space and should be able to accommodate over 2,000 slots and 86 table games. The project is expected to attract more tourists from neighbouring states who come to Daytona for the local races. Once the casino is completed, the next phase of the project will see a hotel, spa and an entertainment retail district, apart from others. The casino will also be sponsoring the races in Daytona to promote itself further. The other title sponsor who funds the Nationwide Series in October is the Kansas Lottery.
