PokerStars made the announcement that they will once again honor ‘Nordic’ country poker players before the European Poker Tour in Copenhagen. Countries that will be in contention of this honor will consist of Finland, Norway, Sweden, and Denmark. The categories deserving of awards are ‘Best Live Tournament Player’, ‘Rookie of the Year’, ‘Best Online Player’, and ‘Best Performance’. Some of the players up for contention for these awards are Peter Eastgate, Ilari Sahamies, and Gus Hansen just to name a few.
